Getting emotional
It is very important to keep a calm head and act rationally when dealing with sellers. In a market that is flooded with competing buyers, you need to make sure you do not act out of emotion when a seller rejects an offer. Know that there would be other opportunities, but you put your best foot forward when dealing with sellers, one opportunity at a time. Always be open to suggestion and lend an ear to the seller’s perspectives.
Insufficient planning
You need to bear in mind your priorities as well as the strengths and weaknesses of sellers before making your first offer. Think of possible responses sellers may have to your offers and any counter offers they could make. If you are able to reasonably anticipate possible responses and
Being fearful
While sparing reasonable time for planning is important, it does not mean that you let good opportunities slide. It is wise to spend some time weighing your options, but you need not let fear come in the way of making important decisions. There is no point in delaying an offer on a deal that you consider a good fit. The most obvious result of missing out on such deals is that competing buyers clinch these opportunities.
